Happy almost Friday! I almost forgot what day it was- I love that about summer! It's been a crazy week and I wanted to share some highlights and link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching!
I caved and bought the light box! Have you seen these everywhere on Instagram? I've been itching to get one!
I downloaded these adorable light box templates from Learning in Wonderland! They are so fun! While planning how to manage and use the light box in my classroom I've got some ideas. I think it might be fun for the kids to take ownership of. My kiddos are a little older, 3rd graders, so I thought of cutting transparency strips to fit the box and my students could write things with those markers. It could be something they learned, a question, a shout out. I think it would be easier to manage and they would like to see their own work lit up! We'll see once the year starts how that works though lol!

The day I have been waiting for all summer has finally arrived!!! Meet Independence! (Indie for short) She was born on July 4th and she's a little firecracker!
She weighs in at 2lbs 12 oz!
Well.. I've got to say this is really only a "Two for Friday" because I've dedicated my time to this baby!! It'll be back to the grind this week and get more classroom planning done :)

Oh my gosh, what a TWO you have this week! Happy to hear about the lightbox packs– I got a LB, too, and now looking for ways to use- so fun. And oh. my. gosh, is Indie every CUTE!!!!! ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new baby!! When reading your comment about her being a little firecracker I thought, "It takes one to know one!!" you ol' firecracker, you! How is mama goat handling having a new baby? My dad loves goats and I shared the pics with him. We think your new baby is adorable. Please post more pics soon.
